Thread: New shooter for the Atari ST

  1. New shooter for the Atari ST

    Hi All,

I don't know if some of you are into old video games, but I have decided to release some of my old Atari ST games I created 15 years ago, and this for free.
Two weeks ago, after spending sometime looking for the code and graphics, I finally released BOLD, a horizontal shooter. It is now available on my web site at:

    http://www.geocities.com/lkermel

Enter the site, click on 'Atari St games' and Bold. You will also find a whole documentation there. Please, don't hesitate to give me feedbacks and comments as I am working now on releasing some of the others and it is a lot of work... but if enough people are really interested it will motivate me even more
Finally, because of the limited bandwich I have with geocities, my site maybe down from time to time, but don't hesitate to try again later.

Thanks again and I hope you'll have fun with the game

    -Laurent

but it's free... I really need to invest in a 'proper' host one day... If I go over my bandwich, the site is suspended for an hour... sorry for the convenience... thanks for loading the game though

    hope you'll like it

  4. I'm assuming you did the art for the games as well?

If so, good stuff! I didn't try downloading any of the games, but I admire all the hardwork you put it.

    Neato.

  5. [homer]mmmmmm bandwich.[/homer]

  6. I can not view the site as the bandwith has been exceeded

  7. Looks awesome, I posted a link to your site over on an Atari forum. I'll pass along any feedback it gets. For me, I downloaded the game but I need to get an ST emulator to check it out. Graphics look great in the screenshots though!

You have the best avatar here.

    Hi !

    Thanks a lot for this
I have posted it to two Atari forums already and I have received a lot of really great feedbacks so far. I'm working on the next game now, Wiliness, which should be available soon... it is still really strange for me to release those old games, I hadn't look at the code and graphics for 15 years !
I've tested Bold on Steem so far and it worked great ! you need to set it up on 1MB ram though.

    thanks

Everyone seems pretty excited to check it out but no direct feedback on the game yet. I like how your ship can turn into a robot, that's just too cool.

Giga Power - thanks. I've got t-shirts for sale with the same design if your interested over at cafepress
