Haha. The Next Level Next. Nice.
In the coming days and weeks, we'll take a look at what's in the works for not only the consoles, but individual companies, genres, and trends. This time out, we examine what's next for the PlayStation 2.
In the future, all titles will end in "Next." Case in point: EGM's main feature this month is called "What's Next." That was supposed to be the original title of this feature ("What's Next for PS2?") until I saw that.
Damn EGM spies.
LOL. Nick wins.
Can't wait to read these articles on my PC computer.

Did you say something? I was watching CNN Headline News.
That reminds me of my "character" usage in my Shenmue II review. Take that as you will.Originally Posted by Andy

I would've liked the article to answer the byline's question. Instead we got *yawn* more previews of big-time titles. Not that they can't be in the article, but shouldn't they be used to illustrate whether Sony stays on top? I guess I'm more interested in whether/why the TNL crew thinks the 300 pound gorilla can stay on top.
[ADDED]
Re-reading the article, we get the impression TNL thinks Sony stays on top...b/c of X titles. Fair enough. Maybe I'm just looking for the article to be more all-encompassing, weighing what MS, Nintendo and Sony are doing now and what's next. Maybe we can't even question Sony's dominance (it's readily apparent).

I failed to point out that this article will be followed by pieces on the Xbox and GameCube. The Xbox piece in particular deals with Sony's assumption that the race is already over. All three pieces are kind of an E3 wrap-up that can be read separately but are meant to be taken together.
