Damn! Didn't even catch that he was Bat Lash! Lot of guest stars in this episode. Now I need to watch it again when I get home.

  2. I'm guessing that the next episode takes place before Return of the Joker.....
That big guy who was killed by the joker is alive apparently.
And I'm also guessing future bruce will meet with present day batman......so you think he'll say anything about Wonder Woman?.....like "dont let her get away and hit it" or something like that?

Hmm. I forgot about that. You could be right. So either it takes place before the Return of Mr. J, or the big guy is a clone/robot or something (doubtful), or they are completely ignoring the unrated versions' murder scene by the Joker which would be lame.

That would probably fall under the dangerous category of messing with the past which would in turn screw up the future so he probably shouldnt....but I bet he will say something though anyways.....

  4. Yeah, this ep was pretty insane. The beginning where Batman and GL were going back and forth about their love lives was pretty funny.

Jonah Hex's appearance in this ep made me pretty giddy since I've been a long time Batman: TAS fan. I'm sure he's probably another character in the DC universe though. It was still pretty f'n sweet to see him again. I don't remember any eps where he encountered time travel though.. I have to rewatch those Batman: TAS eps though when they come out on DVD.

And I don't remember Static Shock ever appearing in any Batman Beyond episodes, only Zeta... it's kinda weird seeing future Static all of a sudden.

Anyway, can't wait for the next ep, I'm pretty psyched.

  5. what bothers me is that in all that time, static never changed his costume. And is still riding that manhole cover.

I dont mind that he's on justice league...as long as I dont have to hear that hip-hop soundtrack on the background if/when they focus on him.

(ppl who watch the show would know what I am talking about I guess....)
    "hip hip...here we go..hip hip hip...here we go...hip"

oh and that also reminds me...how long did superman have that black octapus thing on him?... i remember an episode on BB where he was posessed by that thing.....

It's from the DC Comics version of Hex. One of his series took place in the future.

Actually, it's the other way around. Batman Beyond showed up in Static. After BB was canceled, the next season, for the season opener of Static, Static was shot into the future and winds up in the Batcave somehow. He and Terry work together to save Static's future self from the Kobra group. Apparently Static turns into a very powerful (and important) hero in the future.

Yeah, the music in Static Shock is so terrible yo yo here we go.

I remember that BB, when the future Justice League had been taken over by Starro.

Ah, I see. I avoided all Static Shock episodes every Saturday morning, I only caught the special guest appearance of Batman and Robin in the second season and that was enough to make me stop watching it.

God that episode was horrible. But after season three when the show changed from ghetto animation to JL-quality animation, the series improved dramatically. There was a two-part JL crossover when Static and the JL fought Brainiac. Good stuff.

Looking forward to next week's episode.
City of Heroes is now free-to-play. Try it out!
