Thread: How the hell do I make this multitap work???

  1. How the hell do I make this multitap work???

So I plug in the multitap to memory/controller port 1

I plug all four controllers into the multitap.

    I put in timesplitters 2

The controllers don't respond in any way. Yet I can press the analog button and turn on the light, which means there's power going to the controllers.

I already returned one of these things because I thought it was broken, but the company called and said that it worked fine when they tried it with Madden.

I've tried plugging it in port 2... I've tried putting just the first player controller in port 1 and the multitap + 3 controllers in port 2.

    WTF am I doing wrong?

    FYI it's this POS

  2. Maybe there's a switch you gotta turn on somewhere on the unit or something. Or, maybe, it truly is a peice of junk peripheral.

Yes, you should get a namebrand one like the one I just sent Smooth.

I probably could get you a new one for about 5 bucks more than what you paid for that POS, well, plus shipping. Check walmart, a lot of them have been marking down the namebrand PS2 multitap.

  5. My advice is to buy an Xbox

I think you should buy a new car and drive around the world.

I support this course of action.

  8. Well I bought an official one, used at EB (and I wasn't gouged, it was only 15 bucks) and it works perfect.

I don't know wtf was wrong with this one.

  9. It's a cheap HK knock-off. That's what's wrong with it.
