The Bourne Thread

I literally fell asleep twice during this movie. Woke up for what seemed like a 30 minute, largely uneventful foot chase across rooftops, back to sleep, car chase, big wrecks, bit drowsy, awake again for the last third.

I felt like I really didn't miss anything.

Haven't seen the other two movies, probably not going to.

dot dot dot.

If you have no attachment to the story of course you're not going to care about it.

It's just that there was nothing else going on to hold my attention. It's like a Bond movie for old people.

So slow.

I guess if Patriot Games was the most exciting (and recent) film you've seen, Bourne is amazing.

It didn't hold your attention because you didn't watch the first 2 films which established his character/story.

And the action was boring. Don't forget that.

A good sequel can stand on it's own feet.
