Yes it is. I just played it last year again for the first time since I originally played it and I was suprised at how great it still was.

Thats nice, I played it last year and was like, wow, 7/10. It actually makes me afraid to play Super Metroid again because I dont want the image I have in my mind of that game (perfect, unblemished brilliance) to be sullied.

I said it was still great, I never said it was in the same league as Super Metroid. That game was and still is perfect. It really is the kind of game you have to stay away from until you forget a lot about it. That way it's as fresh as possible for the next play through.
