Otherwise, you're in a ritzy place with bad DJs, expensive beer, stupid broads, and alcohol-fueled vatos spoiling for a fight because they've been punked by vagina all night.
The older I get, the more I assume this will change. But I will always love good, danceable music, so we'll how that goes.
I should point out that I'm also a fan of good, stimulating conversations. You can't have those at clubs. Without quality music, what are you left with? The atmosphere? The insipid patrons? You are reduced to screamy conversations with your buddies punctuated by the occasional "THAT BROAD WANTS ME!" spittled into your ear.

Yes. The music matters. And that's all that should matter. Sex is just a tip.

Too many straight guys rump shaking for me.
I love bright club.
It's a shame because I love dancing, but everytime I go to a club I always end up thinking "God this is lame" for all the major reasons listed above.
I just like dancing with my friends, and I hate random guys on me. Most of the time they scare me! I haven't been to one in about 6 months, and I'm not really missing it.
Going to non-lesbian bars and flirting with straight chicks. Free drinks from the guys who think its hot and torturing bimbos.
Fun.
