Hes a b-boy. They breakdance on a stage composed entirely of cardboard; regularly maintained by a crew of at least 20 people. Loser gets shived in the back alley outside.

I've never been to a club before for all of those reasons. I can't dance and I'm not really down on the big social scene with 800 people I don't know all trying to get laid. But then again a lot of your descriptions of people in the club match about 85% of all young people I see so no big differance there. I just turned 18 last month so my world has opened up a little bit more but I havn't really taken any advantage of it.

By all means go. Dont take our word for it. Just dont expect sunshine and lolipops when you get there. And just in case, have a back up plan for entertainment that night. You might end up leaving still wanting to do something else. It happens to me all the time.

And don't worry, 90% of the people at clubs can't dance. If you just sort of...move to the rhythm you'll fit right in. There are awesome people do the club scene so it's worth checking out at least once or twice.

Oh, and go with a decent group of friends (3-4). It's like Voltron..the more you have, the better it gets =D Especially when you're all drunk. Fun times~

Skinny white-boy is right. Big groups+alcohol = fun. But the people in your group must be willing to have fun, though.

Haha! Well, my bboying days are over (You will RARELY see ground moves from me, and if anything it'll be a quick swipe) but yeah, I still dance. These days it's very Housey-Pop style with some Korean bullshit thrown in. My bboying influence is still in there with footwork and just battle humor.

If someone tells me "Hey Jared, Dance" nothing will come out. I really have to be in the mood =X
