Great article, Derek.
I'll probably buy one of these when Pathway to Glory comes out.
Is Bomberman playable on the Arena? I assume it is.
We're still feeling our way around these Next features, but I think we're definitely on the right track. (Since it's August, the Xbox and GameCube pieces should be around the corner.)
This time out, Kano on the Phone reviews the new QD hardware and four games, and I take a look forward to the next few months of Nokia on the edge. Will the N-Gage grab a bigger market share? Will TNL finally get an N-Gage post icon?

I think it's Bluetooth-only and 1-2 players.
Easily the best Kano write-up I've seen, good work.

I feel bad for Nokia - despite the fact that they have a decent product on their hands, there's no way I'd ever buy it over a GBA SP or DS. The sheer library of games that they have to compete against is mind boggling.
The Zodiac is a great little machine, too, and it has little chance against the Big N as well.
Decent article, though.
I still think the thing's design is expressly intended to publicly humiliate its target demographic. They should have gone for more of a PDA feel. Pathway to Glory & Elder Scrolls sound pretty cool, though. Too bad the price point is still obscene.

Uhh... its $200 with a $100 manufacturer's rebate. So its $100. That's obscene to you?Originally Posted by StriderKyo
Yes! I....okay, I thought it was still $300. But you still have to factor this scenario into the cost:

I dig the functionality, but no way this thing doesn't make you look like a huge dork.

I've used it, and I've gotten a lot of questions about it, but no looks.
Then again, I don't care what someone's thinking when I'm using my cell phone.
