Here's the only important part for me, none of those games wowed me in the least bit to throw down 180 at launch.

Besides, in november i'll be playing such gems as Halo 2 and Half-Life 2, so the DS gets upstaged.

  2. I wonder how many colors will be Japan-only.

Hm, well it's still a tad early...knowing Nintendo -- they'll end up waiting for like another month. I mean, look at how the Metroid Bundle came out. BAM...out of nowhere. I'd say by next month or so, they'll probably start marketing the DS like crazy.

  4. If it launches with a Castlevania game, I'm sold!

  5. The DS will be supply restricted anyway (Nintendo's only planning to ship 3.5 million worldwide through March 2005), they could charge $200 and it'll still sell out. Demand always outstips supply for platform launches, better to charge $179 now and drop the price later when PSP launches...

all of them, probably. do people even think about primary colors when releasing hand helds in different colors?

    IBTN... if it's 2D.

  10. I was posting this as a news item last night (even though it's a rumor), and the power went out again. :(

Anyway, I'm there for the DS whenever it gets here. And it doesn't even rely on my crappy electric company.
