Thread: Places to buy clothes...

agreed, except thats why i only buy ringer t's there. i used to buy my jeans there but like i said, their clothes will 99% of the time

    1. shrink to ungodly levels

    and

    2. after 3 washes look so faded it looks like our grandparents wore them when they were small.

  2. I actually went to great lengths about a month ago trying to find good online clothing stores. My favorites were:

Interpunk - Best site on the net for punk/hardcore band clothes. GREAT prices (13.50 for t-shirts, which is quite cheap for band merchandise) and a huge selection.

Digital Gravel - Great clothing site that offers a very wide variety of brands. Prices are a bit steep, but the clothes are top quality. They sell Obey clothing so they're automatically cool. Too bad the good stuff sells out really quick.

Threadless - How it works is people submit t-shirt designs and you vote on them. Whichever shirts have the most votes get put into production. Really some of the coolest, most original shirt designs you can find anywhere.

I mean, where else can you buy a shirt with an angry juice box on it? (yes, i bought this shirt)

    I also really like Karmaloop.

And as for non-online shopping, I buy TONS of clothes at Gabriel Bros' clothing store. It's a second-hand store, like Value City, but even cheaper prices and a better selection. I've bought so much Express clothing there at such low prices ($5 shirts, $10 jeans) it's rediculous. Easily my favorite store for clothes.

  3. i love t-shirt hell myself.

that Obey shit sure is pricey. $90 for a bookbag? $80 for a hooded fall jacket? some pretty cool stuff tho. i do dig the jacket.

Wow, I really like this idea, thanks for showing me this site. This is the kind of thing I can get behind.

    That's pretty cool.

I picked up four or five MX and six polo (for work) with a couple ties ($38 a piece ).
Nothing wrong with ExpressMen. I shop there for their dress shirts and pants. Kinda pricey tho. I just bought 2 pair jeans from there too..they were on sale.

I pretty much agree you here. Even though I am getting possibly too old to shop and A&F and AE I still do. I still look college age so it works. I don't buy the sweatshirt that scream "Abercrombie" across the chest either, I buy stuff that I feel has a nice look. I don't shop A&F as much now though since it's difficult for me to shell out full price, considering I used to manage there in college.
Old Navy is so hit or miss. You can get some decent cheap stuff here or there to fill out you wardrobe, but most of there stuff seems like A&F and AE knock offs.
TJMaxx is a great place to get those cool faddy dress shirts and pants for going out on the town. Save yourself a ton.

Bottom line is, it's all about the women/girls (or men) you want to attact. If you want a cute little 'crombie chick, your going to have to wear A&F. If you want a corp-goth chick, shop at Hot Topic etc.
If you find a somebody who's not about that stuff...your the man. Never was my experience though.

  9. I do most of my clothes shopping at either Wal-Mart or Filene's Basement, as one has low prices on jeans and stuff (WM), while Filene's is a haven for cheap shirts.
