I just go there because the Gap and Banana Republic are always jammed pack(Still trying to figure out how EB's still in business in my area).

  2. I get most of my stuff here. http://www.pimphats.com/

Seriously, though, I'm real picky about clothes. I'm usually pretty casual, but I do keep a good supply of sharp clothing on hand for going out and such. Just look in most of the men's stores in the mall...you might just stumble across that one damn fine shirt out of nowhere. That's what usually happens to me.

For casual outfits I can usually find stuff I like in Gap or Old Navy, at least their less preppy-looking stuff, anyway. Aeropostale is okay sometimes. I'd love to burn A&F to the ground. Structure has some decent stuff, but everything there is so cheaply made...almost anything I've bought there has quickly lost buttons, torn seams, etc. Add the fact that their fall line in stores now consists entirely of pastels and you have one guy who's sworn off that shithole. There's a couple of other stores I like for dressing up, but I don't think they're chains or anything.

Anyway, good clothes are where you find 'em. You can't really recommend one store for everything...you want to find nice clothes, you gotta spend some time and look.

One thing I'll never do...buy a t-shirt/sweatshirt/whatever that has the logo of the store on it. I'm paying $25 for the privilege of becoming a goddamn walking billboard for you? Fuck you.

EXACTLY. I'm the same way.If I do happen to shop at one of these chain stores thats one of the things I look for is to make sure no logos or anything are on it. Lately they've been getting tricky by putting them on the sleeves or other weird places you might not check (small on the bottom back of the shirt) - bastards.

You know, the minute you leave the store and wear that, no one's going to realize where you bought it. I'm like Shidoshi, pretty much Old Navy and whatever casualwear I can find. Dress simple and dress cheap, it's that easy.

    A&F.........kill me now
American Eagle......ugly to begin with and already worn
    Old Navy........blue jeans maybe
Structure............some nice things if you dont mind dropping tons of cash
Hollister.............someone teach me to build a bomb
Hot Topic...............neat finds if you dont mind everyone else wearing it too
JCPennys/Sears/Dillards.........my ankles go weak before i make it 10 feet in the store

Any good websites on the internet that sell normal clothes? All the trendy crap makes me wanna be a nudist. I hate shopping for clothes.
I shop salvation army... cheap and plenty of t-shirts to go around. It's not as dirty and outdated (always) as people make it out to be. Besides, some of the trendy shit can be found there, and people are just dumb to pay $30 for a fucking t-shirt that "looks vintage"

Or you can take that same "looks vintage" T-shirt to Japan and sell it for $50-$60.

If I had a way to transport a lot of stuff very easily, like a shrink ray or something, I clean a few thrift shops out, take the stuff to Japan, and make a fortune.

The real money is selling stuff like Rocawear, Phat Farm, Ecko Red, Sean John and everything else like that. I've seen Air Force Ones go for over $200! Seriously.

This man speaks the truth. There are places that sell vintage nikes and levi's and crap in japan. The japanese kiddies pay big bucks for that stuff.

I should have sent Seven those new 20 year old vans I had and some brand new 15 year old "boot cut" jeans. He could have made us both rich. But I'm keeping the pants for msyelf, and I ebayed the shoes for 80 bucks. yes people, someone payed 80 bucks for a pair of old shoes. I love ebay.
