Have to have one, or you're missing out on a surprisingly large chunk of good games (suppose it depends on which genres you like).

Not yet... if I ever do, all I can think of to buy off the top of my head are the DDRs.
HA! HA! I AM USING THE INTERNET!!1
My Backloggery
jps2. i only use it for shooters.
I have an Asian ps2. Havn't used it in a long while. All the games I expect that I will need to import have been coming state-side, like Katamari Damacy and Gungrave OD.
No, just a normal US PS2. The only reason I'd mod my Playstation would be for DDR's like Mzo said and a couple shooters like Dodonpachi Daioujou. The array of games I'd be interested in is just too small, and I already have little time to play, so I'll pass.
I really do need to get DDP though.

This isn't any kind of attack or flame, as i'm actually curious what else is out there, as I can get my ps2 modded but passed for the time being.

Also rhythm. Aside from the simplistic crap (Donkey Konga, Taiko Drummer) and DDR none is comming state side. Mainly Beatmania IIDX, and Pop'n Music.Originally Posted by Roufuss
Also there are the budget games and remakes (Bonk!).
I've got a modded US PS2. I got it (thanks Matt!) for Beatmania IIDX but I had to sell that a while back. Now I just use it to play my PS1 imports. It's nice to not have to drag out my old modded 1001 PSX to play 'em.
