Thread: Weird Game Outing

  1. WTF Weird Game Outing

The pictures pretty much speak for themselves, but I had a weird outing where strange and funny stuff kept popping up, and my girlfriend just happened to have her camera.

    The lowdown:

I went to Costco and say these game chairs where the people playing in them were not only using controllers from different game systems in the same console (Xbox and N64 controllers), but the older dude that looks like he doesn't play games, is holding his controller backwards. My gramma doesn't play games and has alzheimers (sp?) and knows how to hold a fucking controller.

Then I went to Target and saw a non-gaming related Spiderman toy that was apparently exstatic about itself not requiring those that play to read. So much for literacy. Not gaming related, but I fealt like posting the pic.

Then I went to Fry's and snapped a pic of their bargain shelf and the funny line they printed on it. Good stuff.

Lastly I went to my local Gamestop and found 3 (!) copies of Castlevania SOTN, I bought 2 of them, Loaded, Ridge Racer and Tekken 2. I have been looking for SOTN non-GH for a WHILE and then I found 3 at the same store! I guess it is a good thing that the GameStops in my neck of the woods NEVER do inventory and have no real-time inventory to speak of. They have no idea of what they have, and less of an idea of what is worth Ebaying. Lucky me.

Yeah, that is pretty much it. Just wanted to post these pics of my game buying trip. If you guys have any funny real-life gaming related pics, post em up.

  2. Castlevania syndrome- Games are like that. I hadn't seen a copy of Parappa the Rapper in over a year, all of a sudden I ran into two copies at work and one at a pawn shop that sometimes has good deals on stuff. Not that I was looking for it or anything, just wondering where they all came from.

Absolutely love that shot of the guy holding the controller upside down.

  3. We got those chairs in at Best Buy about a moth ago. I was checking out the box thinking it would be nice to have, then I saw the guy holding the controller upside down...Everyone pretty much had a good laugh at that shit that saw it.

  4. Loaded is the shit. Who made that? Are they still around?

    Very nice find man!
I guess you've learned the benifit to waiting.
I agree, they should give people like you something. Perhaps a kick in the balls would do nicely and make you slightly less retarded.

Gremlin Interactive or something I believe. They havn't made games since the 32-bit gen.

That's because Infogrames swallowed them a few years ago.
