I was so pissed off at how the Cowboys defense flopped in the 4th quarter. With less than 3 minutes left, I turned off the television in discust. I had a feeling I shouldn't have, but I couldn't see the Cowboys coming back.

NE has been playing just as good as the Steelers since that game.

Pittsburg's D and rushing 1-2 punch is just way too dominating for NE or Philly when it comes down to it once again in the playoffs. Not to mention the O-line play and Big Ben. Enjoy beating up on crappy teams for the next 4 weeks, cause come playoffs it's a whole new ballgame.
I remember hearing this same comment last year and in two years before. It didn't stop us then and I don't think it will this year either. That Pats ramp things up in the playoffs and I don't think that one Pittsburg win will be a precendent.

One thing's for sure, the AFC playoffs are going to be amazing.

I don't think it's a fluke though. They went into Philly and pounded them as well. Pittsburgh just wears teams down.

  4. I admit NE is playing very well despite their injuries, but their schedule, except for 3 or 4 teams this year, has been much easier than Pittsburgs and maybe even Philly's. Many of those teams that were supposed to be strong have been dissapointing (Seahawks, Bills) The two teams that are doing well this year (Jets, Colts), they beat by less than a touchdown, so they aren't any diff. in that respect this year than the Steelers. Both teams are finding ways to win. And come on, they have Cincy, Miami, and San Fran in 3 of their last 4 games. It can't get any easier for them, jeez.

The Billsl have actually come on strong, winning 5 of their last 6 games. In week 9 they beat the Jets and in thier 4 game winning streak beat down the Rams and Seattle soundly. They're starting to look like a serious contender in the AFC. I'd love to see Bledsoe meet the Pats in the playoffs and knock their sorry asses out.

    LOL

They're getting good in spite of Bledsoe, not because of him.

  8. You know what really pisses me off? Bears Texans game, Texans just scored the first touchdown of the game before the half, its a big touchdown throw, like a 35 yard + pass straight to the end zone. Texans QB David Carr runs to the end zone to congratulate his wide reciever and pat some backs, - its not an extravagant celebration at all, and they get fucking flagged for "unsportsmanlike conduct"! WTF? Even the commentator guys went "what the hell is he supposed to do, hang his head?"

Seriously - all those guys did was a couple ppl patted the back of the wide reciever - thats ALL. I've seen touchdown celebrations with players doing the worm on the field and they were never called for that! Do I believe the worm should've have been flagged? Hell no, I think no celebrations should be flagged unless they obviously delay the game (like over 20 seconds or something). What the hell is the point of such a penalty? Are they trying to prevent the scoring team from hurting the other team's feelings? What exactly is the problem here. THE NFL can be really fucking lame sometimes.

The Bills forfieted their right to a super bowl when they went to 4 straight and lost them all. I'd think 20 years straight without another superbowl appearance will be a suitable punishment for them. Playoffs maybe, but they'll get reamed against the heavyweights.

I know, but I'd still like to see it. The Bills have quite a solid defense that has been a big factor in their win streak.

T.Owens just twisted his knee. The trainers are taking into the locker room to check him out. This could be a huge blow to the Eagles playoff run, should the injury be serious.

  10. i can't believe that score is 7-6 - just insane, dallas should've gotten creamed.
