The 32-bit remakes of Lunar 1&2 were still better than all the Square RPGs combined.
Lunar 1 & 2 was SegaCD, son. Not quite 32-bit.
If you think FFT and Einhander are the only good 32-bit games from Square you've already lost, and there's no point arguing with you.
Enix has bailed them out IMO, and its good they're updating their classics, and FF12 looks wonderous, but they are really shitty over all. A distinct lack of imagination, bad sequels, and bad new franchises. They're just terrible.Originally Posted by Finch
And yes, FF:SW is where they jumped the shark.

FFVII was one of the worst games of all time, period. Square should have stopped producing RPG's right after this, as it's been all downhill from there.
If you think Lunar SSSC is better than even Final Fantasy VIII, you're delusional.
Donk
I forgot about PE. I liked those too. Still doesn't change any of my statements though.Originally Posted by Diff-chan
Them I'm delusional, I can't think of one aspect of FFVIII that made it fun.Originally Posted by Finch
So you're saying that FFVIII is better than Lunar? Wow. Just wow.Originally Posted by Finch

I can't believe I left Grandia out.
That hammers PE1-2 and CC that I forgot on Square's side easily.
