Definitely. I'd say there's a whole list of 32-bitters better than Grandia: FF7, FF9, Vagrant Story, Valkyrie Profile, Suikoden, Xenogears, Chrono Cross, etc. I used to play RPGs a lot.

Honestly if Grandia didnt become some nostalgic twinkle in Saturn fanboys' eyes I think it would have mostly been forgotten. I never saw the big deal. My friend is a huge fan, though, so who knows. I didnt come here to slag Grandia and be negative, I just wanted to talk about how awesome Square used to be.

I've played the PlayStation version. It's technically inferior to the Saturn version, but it still whips anything Square made on the PS1.
