Metal Gear 2 to be released for Mobile Phones.

Once again, Konami Online is developing a mobile version of a Metal Gear game. This time it's the canonical MSX2 sequel to the original Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. The game will feature enhancements similar to the Mobile Phone port of the first game such as refined fonts, as well as redrawn artwork for the Radio Screen. The game is currently scheluded for an October 1st release date, although the game is currently being presented at the Tokyo Game Show.

KCEJ should just bite the bullet and release Metal Gear 1+2 for GBA. Seems to be the popular trend in Japan for old series anyway (Mother, Final Fantasy, Super Chinese, Powerpro Kun Pocket, Ganbare Goemon, Sansara Naga, etc).
