    I'm checking it out now...

I remember someone around here translated it a few years back, the story was pretty cool.

This is cool, but did you just join to promote your website?

That was a friend of mine which I transcribed and put up.

I think he posted here a long time ago, though it was a different variation of Silver.

  5. Wait a minute...they took the story out of the US Ikaruga?

    ..Why??

I seem to remember a Silver. I'm not really upset, it's just it seems to me to be in bad taste to join and then just promote yourself and get out.

I hope you hang around, Silver.

The "story" in Ikaruga consists of a few lines of text that appear at the beginning of each chapter, plus a little text at the end.

Not much to get in a twist over unless you're a hardcore RS fan, in which case you've read the translation anyway.

Thank you very much for this site. You have done the Sakimoto/RS fan community a great service!

Ah. No, that's not enough to get me in a twist. I started envisioning Radiant Silvergun-type cutscenes or something, which would probably be pretty great considering how cool Ikaruga's artwork is. But they still should have kept the text

And yeah, thanks a lot for the translations!

  9. There is a lot more story for Ikaruga hidden in the JP Galleries, Art book, and sound test (All this text was taken out in the US version). Check out PBSaffran's FAQ for a full translation, here (click the FAQ then scroll to Extras.)

  10. Yeah, actually that Pierre Saffaran Translated our main in game story for RS, as you can see, he is credited at the top of the doc & on the site =) As for joining to promote the site....WHY NOT?! Do you know how many people out there have wanted this?! I mean where else do you expect me to go to let people know about my dark corner of the Internet? Thanks for the positive support all!! I just wanted to make sure EVERYONE has the option of knowing the FULL vision of Hiroshi Iuchi. But I do intend to stick around...this is a NICE site.
