Lara Croft, one of Eidos Interactive's major icons is making her apperance at E3 once again...no, we're not speaking of the new game - but the character herself...

Okei, so we meant a likeness of her, just play along.

"For years we have wanted to introduce the real Lara Croft to the world. We are thrilled that we could finally convince her to take some well deserved time off to meet her fans," stated Eidos Interactive Vice President of Marketing Paul Baldwin. "The chronicles of her adventures have really struck a chord with gamers around the world and we think they will be overjoyed to finally meet her and talk to her in person."

"I know my fans think I have been elusive in the past, but this is really the first time in years I have had the opportunity to take a break from my work pursuits," says Croft. "I am excited to finally have the chance to meet some of my supporters in person. It should be a kick."

Lara will grace the Eidos Booth on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. She will make subsequent appearances at the booth on May 22 at 3:00 pm and May 23 at 12:00 pm and 2:30 pm.
