Thread: Trinidad is back!!!

  1. The whole fight was a high light reel, Tito hit Mayorga with everything INCLUDING the kitchen sink and the bath tub and the fucker didnt budge untill the end of the fight.

Trinidad not only impressed with his performance but also in the fact that he looked better then when he retired, he added more punches to his arsenal and also allot of slight head movement and side to side movement with his feet.

Some of which Hopkins used on him, shuffle to the right then hop to the left while leaping in with a hook or right cross.

    Good stuff.....

    haha, great description, thanks.

  3. Thumbs Up

This fight was one of the best fights Ive seen in some time.

For some reason during the first round I got a little worried as Mayorga was letting the punches fly and Trinidad seemed to be on the defense. But, Ill be damned if every round even towards the end of the first had some serious boxing going down. Trinidad was in rare form and looked to be at the top of his game. He was totally focused, moved well, hit hard and defended himself pretty well whenever Mayorga would go into his angry hissy-fit flurries of punches.

But, geez if any of you are in the slightest interested in boxing, DL this or catch it on HBO next weeked for sure.Like JMET said this was an awesome match-up.

Another thing - the little fight before Trinidad vs. Mayorga: Wayne Martell vs. Zab Judah ----

Where did they find this poor Indian guy. He didnt look like he had any boxing skills at all. And him wearing that big feathered Indian chief head dress before the fight <shakes head>

  4. That was literally the worst mismatch I have seen in my life, I have never fought someone so inept...

The little guy had heart and really seemed to want to win even if he had no chance.

I know, man. I really felt bad for Martell. I felt like I was watching a schoolyard fight with the little nerd getting picked on by the big bully. If I was there ringside , I'd be tempted to jump in and give the little guy a hand.

The fact that Don King was involved in this little "fight" didnt surprise me either
