I'd like to see one of you assholes tell me these new Star Wars movies are good to my face. These new ones are bull. shit. I don't care what you think these movies are "supposed to be", but in my opinion, they're supposed to be good. The new ones are pure marketing drivel and you jokers are gonna keep pumping your 9.25 into em. People need to learn to leave stuff alone. No reduxes, no new effects, no sequels. I hate all this cross-marketing shit.

speaking of that, I got 1 more (and final) version of the trailer -- a dvd video structure of the .ts mpeg cropped and set for max bitrate (8mbps). It's going to look AWESOME on my sisters HDTV. ;o

people bitch about the acting, the writing, the focus on the effects, and all of this could be applied to the first 3 films also

mark hamill is not a good actor
carrie fisher is not a good actor
their performances were B-rate
there is so much corny cheese in the first 3 also

people just think higher of them cause they were kids when they saw it

Your best choice is to look for laserdisks burned onto DVD over ebay, otherwise keep looking for those old tapes if they're still lying around.

I can't figure out what my parents did with the old tapes we used to have before they split, they had the original covers and everything.

i have the original trilogy on VHS with the really old school original poster art for the box cover, as well as the first THX ones (still before they put any of the CG stuff in it). are they worth something now a days?
