I know, believe me I see the flaws in the prequels. I just maybe went a little over the top in my hate of Traver's reviewing style. I am serious when I say have not liked him or the way he reviews for several years now. He comes off as a MST trying to hip and it just doesn't work. I know when the MST "Film Crew" (as Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett call themselves now) will rip Ep 3 a new one.And I know you're psyched and want to read any latest news and reviews you can on Episode 3, but not everyone is going to like this thing. Not everyone will get it. It's always interesting to read other opinions, just make sure you have some of your own...I'd never ask a friend of mine who plays nothing but sports games (Madden, all of the ESPN,series, etc.) what he thinks of the latest Final Fantasy game and vice versa. People just have different tastes.
But Travers is not supposed to be a comedic writer, he is a movie reviewer. For all his sarcasm, as an example, Nelson gushes over Jackie Chan as his favorite modern movie star and his favorite show is Andy Griffith. Travers doesn't seem to have this sort of "let-go when needed" mentality. And I do not like the fact he basically puts Ep 3 on the same level he does TPM, saying we should go in as "kiddies drinking kool aid," never mind the fact any kids that go to it will see Anakin burned to a crisp. He acts like the movie is not to be taken seriously at all and if I was an uninformed reader, I would think based on his writing that the movie is only for children much like TPM admittedly was in some parts.
When I want a movie broken down coherently I don't want to hear someone spout off about the director's "agenda" to "brainwash" us which is Traver's pathetic explanation for why he thinks we enjoy the movies so much. Otherwise I just think the reviewer is biased himself and has an petty beef against said director.
On that same token, I don't like it when one of the Ep 3 reviewers says "Believe the hype! Star Wars is back!" Again, balance.

) love interest.

Apparently he doesn't know the difference between self referential humor and just plain laughable period.
