While many people may say CT is overated, i kinda disagree. It's my favorite RPG, and game of all time. CC isn't as brilliant but it does the job. A 3rd Chrono game was on the works, or at least they registered the domain... i am more than satisfied to see a remake with insane high resolution and 2D.

Chrono Trigger is my favorite game of all time. I haven't played it in years in fear that I won't like it now as much as I did when i was younger. I think I might start up a new game though, I've forgotten many of the plot details so I think it'd be somewhat of a fresh experience.
Chrono Cross is great, but I prefer CT. It has the best videogame music ever, and perhaps the best gameplay of any RPG.
I'd fight a pack of hobos to the death if surviving it meant a chance to play a new Chrono game on par with the first two. I'm not hopeful, though.

I don't see the hate to CC from some guys. While it sure ain't Chrono, it's more than another RPG that takes Chrono's name to follow the saga. it has so many twists, plot heavy and many chars, but i like the fight system and i sure like the artwork. And the music is nice too...

It doesn't go against any board rules. To be frank, I don't get what the big deal is against digging old threads. It happens rarely, and its as much a thread as the new ones. And Chrono Cross was the better game, everything flowed so well and the music and art, while very different, did it some good. It's awesome and I enjoyed it more than CT.

I can't have one without the other, it's like one game to me almost.
Everytime I play through CT I follow through with CC.
All is well.
