those DVDs cost money you know their we now the reason that they pulled the DVD out
Well it seems that after a boat load of bitching, reader polls and emails/letters made Newtype USA decide to put the DVD back in the magazine for all. They did should be back for the November issue.
But now you can expect the already expensive mag which runs around 10 bucks on newstands to be about $12+ now.
Just like my boss at work he wants to take two steps forward but takes 5 steps back.

English please.
they need the extra bucks to make the DVDs. If they were a big time mag like Rollings Stones everything would be okay. However their not so they need the money
you must seriously be retarded. NewType is the #1 anime magazine out there. and especially being published by ADV here in the states? they have very deep pockets and it costs them next to nothing to produce their shitty dvds of shows no one cares about. yea, and let's not forget how they did extremely well at selling the magazine for $10 while STILL packing in the dvd.
they have no reason to charge the extra $3 other than to make you their bitch. you might as well pull your pants down right now and spread your ass open so you can take it deep from them.
Has anyone else noticed they quit putting the postcards in too? It seems awfully odd that the price rises and the extras go down and down.
Lets give it up to the new editor in chief for running the mag into the ground.
their EIC knows what the consumer wants. and it's definitely not extras.
Anime is not as huge as it used to be. ( my first post proved that) The pokemon/DBZ craze is over and the mainstream anime fans aern't buying it. The magazine isn't that popular among non-anime fans and are not selling that well next to other teen mags like Game Informer,Tips/Tricks , Entertainmentweekly etc..They need to save money.
Anime is not as huge as it used to be? You must be blind. I remember when you were lucky to even find anime in a store. Now I can goto a store a see a section huge as hell stocked full of TONS of different series, movies and OVA's. For an industry that you say isn't selling its suprising there are about 4 or 5 companies bring anime out in the US. Try explaining that one to me.
ADV seems to be doing so damn well they help put out newtype, got a cable network and snatch up more series than the other companies at the moment.
Yea anime isn't selling well HAHAHA
the big stack of anime movies next to the bigger stack of american movies. the american movies discussed in almost every magazine in the country. Anime isn't as popular as forms of media like video games that have very good selling magazines. I didn't say that anime hasn't gotten any popular. Just not that popular. Am not attacking anime or Newtype. Just showing you the other side of the coin.
