You know anywhere exactly to look for these things? My sister is building one to surf the net and mud with (yes I know how gay that is, and I tell her). That would be great for her.

Well, I'm not really in your neck of the woods, so I can't help you there.

Your best bet would be to look in your local classifieds for people who mod XBOXs and just call them and ask if they have any 8GB or 10GB drives to sell. If they do, and you can get them for $10 or less, then you're all set. Just make sure that the drives have been unlocked before you buy them.

If all else fails, I'm sure any computer surplus store would have similar drives.

We about already have that. We have three in on a network, sharing a dish connection to the net.

You should go for 20gb ones I think, as XP takes up about 2gb, MS office will take up close to 1gb and so on. Also, she could get bored, and quickly want to move onto games or using p2p, and the remaining 7gb left on the drive is going to be way small for that.
