Gameexpress.com is selling the 1-year Xbox Live Starter Kit for $52. This is probably the cheapest price (original $70) that I could find on the internet. It comes with the headset and Crimson Skies.

The only problem is that you'll probably eat $11 in shipping fees and taxes, so you might want to order something else and use the savings (games are usually $5 bucks cheaper) to "cancel" out those fees (I bought two Xbox controllers at $25 a pop, so the $10 I saved went to the shipping fees).
