    Nintendo's non-video gaming properties

With the news of Nintendo founding an animation studio and of them upping their ownership percentage of the Seattle Mariners, it has got me wondering what other non-gaming stuff they have their hand in. Does anyone know? I know the restaurant up the hill from where I live called Horizons was opened up by Nintendo in the '80s but I doubt they still own it.

  2. I hear they are quite the collector of children's souls. That's what powers the DS backlights.
    R.I.P. Paragon Studios

  3. Hanafuda cards?

  4. Publishing, as I imagine they own Nintendo Power as well.

  5. There's no way the shit games theyve been publishing are what is making them so much profit. I say opium smuggling.

The only thing I know is that they used to operate love hotels. Which is kinda weird.

  9. Whats the deal with love hotels? Theyre just places you go to shag, right? How much do they cost? Can you spend the night or have to bounce once your testicles are unloaded?

How come they never caught on here? That would be so convenient.

  10. They make cards and own every piece of merchandise with the word pokemon on it. Their fucking rich.
