Jefmcc, Destro, and Manch, it was great playing with you guys last night. Unfortunately, I'll be away on vacation with no Live access for the next couple of days, which sucks because I know most of you will have the most amount of time to play during the next couple of days.

yea it was a good time. Ill be on alot soon - and on xmas, me and the family are gonna hop online, most of my relatives never even played halo before. Should be a blast.

I <3 dual needlers.

Tonight I just kicked back, played some Rumble Training, and put in some practice time with these things. A pair of needlers spells near-instant death at close to mid-long range. They eat up ammo like a motherfucker, but they reload fast. And since most people don't bother using them, there's plenty of ammo to be found.

Highly underrated weapon.

Oh man do I ever agree!!! The dual needlers are especially deadly on a small map like Beaver Creek where they have both needlers just sitting next to eachother. Deadly to the maxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx!!!!

My question is though, is sometimes when you shoot em the needles come out uber fast and destroy everything, but othertimes they just shoot out at regular speed. Any idea what changes the speed that the needles shoot out at?

I started to think about this too, and the only conclusion I can jump to is when you are duel wielding needlers, if you start shooting one gun RIGHT before the other, it makes a faster, more deadly sound. If you start shooting them both at exactly the same time, it sounds slower.

Actually, if you rapid fire the trigger buttons, the rate of fire will be much faster.

Interesting theory, but I feel like when they are shooting faster they also kill the person I'm shooting quicker, and it's not just sounding like it's shooting faster. You could definately be right though...

What do you mean by rapid fire the trigger buttons? I've only encountered this problem with both just holding both trigger buttons if that clears anything up.
