I'm really starting to get tired of GTA games getting the "best game evar!!" treatment. Yes, San Andreas is fun and a good GTA game but come on, a perfect score? I haven't played Halo 2 but I'm pretty sure it's going to own GTA's ass.

IDBTN. San Andreas has an amazing scope that has never been seen before in games, and it nails it. Even if Halo 2 does a few things amazingly well (and theres no doubt it does), then its still really not the game that San Andreas is.

I haven't been interested in Prime 2, thought it would get weaker reviews. I wonder what Retro Studio is going to bust out with next...

Damn, there's really a lot of good games out right now. Too bad I'm spending all of my time playing Zelda 2 on GBA.

RPGs have had this kind of scale for an extremely long time, especially PC RPGs. I like the GTA series, but I don't get what's so special about the scale in them... they're huge for action games, but it's not like we've never seen games on this scale before.

Not complaining about the series, just the hype behind it. I've never understood that.

That's my point, San Andreas is a great game but it's still just another GTA game. I'm so burnt out on all the hype and "OMG you can rape the hooker for health THEN kill her!" GTA stuff. Halo 2 looks like it's going to be a revolutionary console game, I want to buy an Xbox to play it.
