I reserved the game at Planet X (a store by Game Stop), but I called over at Game Rush and they said they'll have plenty of copies, so I'm debating where to go that won't be crowded.

Planet X had about 200 or so people when I went to get Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and they said it could be double that. Game Rush also offers that coupon book. As of now, I'll most likely go to Planet X just to be on the safe side since my copy is reserved, but I'll call both places again tomorrow and see what happens.

Where ever I decide to go, I'll go and wait around 9:00 PM or so. My cousin will meet up with me around midnight, we get the game, go to his house, and play the game until we beat it.

I'll get out of work between 9:00 and 9:30pm, so I'll get to the mall around 10 or so. I'll be meeting up with a friend, who is buying me the game! (If it wasn't for me, he would have never bought an Xbox, the PS2 fanboy he was. I'll be armed with a camcorder and I'll share my footage here. I may even interview some people for the fun of it. "So.....do you thing Halo is the greatest game of all time?" I may just wear a Nintendo shirt just to see if I get any snide remarks.

Still, I made sure to preorder at the store away from the malls tucked in a little strip mall that will probably get less traffic...BUT I generally think it's a better store than the other ones, with better ee's and stock, so maybe many other gamers have caught on.

The mall I'm getting it has a registration desk that opens at 11, where you sign your name and are given a number. Then you get called in groups according to your number, so there's no use in me going later than midnight. The earlier the better.
