    Same here. Damn pop-under ads.

  2. Just download Adblock (url) and block Fastclick and all those other assholes.

  3. It's been 2 months since i made the switch from IE to Firefox and i can now definitively say that IE is a much better program to use, and oddly enough is far less bloated than Firefox. For my normal internet activities i generally have 3 windows open, one yahoo baseball stat tracker and 2 for browsing websites. With Firefox my computer was slowing down a lot, CPU was consistently reading 90% usage. Today i finally got sick of it and opened IE back up, opened the regualr windows and the CPU usage settles at 40%. That's rediculous. Security reasons, tabbed browsing, and ad blocking are the only reasons i can see to use Firefox, which i suppose are good enough reasons, but everything else is better in IE. The overall user experience is better in IE. Pages load faster, it doesn't kill my computer's performance, and today it even blocked a popup, which i didn't even know it could do. I'm going back to IE for sites i trust and keeping Firefox for when i get adventerous (porn).

  4. FireFox has some nasty memory leaks, I reckon.

  5. I'll just wait for the new IE, which is supposed to be awesome.

Firefox's code is a bit fucked up. I've had it act faggy on previous partitions and installations before, but usually it works just perfect for me. Try it on a different computer, I guarantee you it will be better.

  7. The program has been nothing but gold for me so far. The only thing I've noticed (and it isn't a problem) is that Adblock screws up Flash animations. But then, I'm not running it on a Windows machine.

And why does the title still say Foxfire?

Firefox skipped and stuttered during Flash animations a lot for me in 10.3, while Safari played them without a problem. Weird. It seems alright now, though I haven't played with the new Safari enough. It might actually be faster than the version of Firefox I have installed.

Yeah, I uninstalled Adblock and the Flash animations worked again. But I don't care about them not working so I reinstalled it.

    New Safari is nice.
