Thread: Unpacking the Nintendo DS...

  1. The Incredibles! Violet really comes out of her shell near the middle ending of the movie. Good for her.

I saw this feature a few days ago, and I always like looking at the contents of a fresh new package. The DS is smaller than I always imagined.

Anyone have an idea when customers will be able to try it out at EB?

I second this. I it seems like NINTENDOVATION* is at it again. I hope the word catches on and you all can say that you heard it from your pall Gymkata first. Although, it could get overused and then you all would want to hang me; so forget I said it.

I would rather other companies be able to use it if it's good. Did Nintendo actually patent the cross shaped d-pad? I know it's common belief that they did but how does that explain the Dreamcast d-pad? It looks just like the NES one.

They did, evidently the patent expired before 1998.

Are you only saying this becuase they are the only site that gave halo 2 a pretty low score compared to other sites and magazines.

Might want to check that again, junior.

  9. They gave it a 94. Compared to other sites and magazines giving it 10/10 that is low. Its lower than the the first Halo

... That's still really high no matter how you slice. The first Halo brought a crap load of new stuff to the table as far as console FPSes are concerned -- Halo 2 really didn't.
Still, 94% is still a great score, man.
