Tornado... out of nowhere!

See thats what happens after a movie like Shaolin Soccer comes out. Kids see that, then they decide to use the Super Tornado Heel Kick in the middle of a little League Game.

Seriously, though that was just crazy. I didnt even know that sort of thing was possible.

I have an uncle who lives in Salt Lake City, Utah and I've always heard him talk about how Dust Devils ( little mini tornados) can form in the middle of the desert. Ive never seen a dust devil, but I doubt they are as big as that one in the video was. Awesome find Chux.

I grew up in Montana. We'd see a Dust Devil at least once a year. One year I was in my back yard, when a Dust Devil hit. It picked up my bicycle and a couple of lawn chairs, but didn't really do any damage. The one in the video was pretty large, but hardly what I'd call a tornado.

Dust Devils can actually get pretty large, I drove through one, with several others doing the same, on my way to see Hoover Dam from Las Vegas. It was probably an eigth of a mile in diameter but all it did was get muddy dirt on the windshield. It looked intemidating but it wasn't bad. Tornadoes on the other hand are crazy. I've seen groves in the ground from trails of destruction that a tornado of about that size. If that were a tornado those kids would`ve been lauched through that tree instead o the awning. It would have been funnier if the dust devil formed in front of the goal to block a kick, but that's asking too much from Mother Nature's sence of humor.

Damn. Living in West Texas makes seeing these things like seeing an oil well - so common it's not worth mentioning. Here and I thought it was a REAL fucking tear-the-shit-out-of-everything tornado not some silly little dust devil, and got all excited about it.

I keep forgetting that not everyone lives in Texas and doesn't have access to all the kickass stuff I do. I'll have to shoot a video of three or four at once in a cotton field sometime.
