I picked it up last night...I played for a bit...I'm only 8% done so far. From what I've played its a fun game.
Its a bit slow in the beginning but the story picks up. I've already done 2 magazine covers.
I know MGS3 is coming out, and Metroid Prime: Echoes is hot on its heels, but is anyone looking forward to NFS:U2? I know I really enjoyed the first (much more than I expected), and heard you can free-roam in this one, and customizing things to the body actually changes performance...
So I'm a bit jazzed for it.
Although will there be online play for PS2 or XBox? Anyone know which versions are getting what? Or is it a straight-across-the-board port?

NFS:U series is ok at best. i just wish EA would give us NFS:Hot Persuit 3 online instead of NFS:U rice-a-roney crap.
btw, does NFS:U2 still have those ugly textures like everything is smeared in vasaline?
Bingo. Id kill to have a 4 player run through national forest with a few buddies online.Originally Posted by marwan
Plus the soundtrack of part one made me want to dig my ears out with a fork, Ill bet 2 is the same.

Just picked up the X-Box version today. I also played the PS2 demo...from what I can tell the x-box version looks a lot better and runs smoother too.
I guess you've learned the benifit to waiting.
I agree, they should give people like you something. Perhaps a kick in the balls would do nicely and make you slightly less retarded.
I thought the first one was asstacular but im sure this will sell well too
I've only read that this game is online by a few sites, but the Xbox case doesn't have the tell-tale xbox live orange marker. Is it, or isn't it?
I didnt care at all for the first one, didnt like it, but that was usually the case with all EABig games. They make one game that has no options, looks great, but other then that, absolutely bites [save Tricky] and the sequel(s) are always bigger, better, more fun.
I'm not bothering with it now but I might pick it up in a couple months.
How do you make Neons more fun to drive, when the physics are aleady ludicrous and the cars weigh 13 ounces?
Drift mode was the only part that was good.
