Thread: Otakon 2005

  1. I just book a room for the Holiday Inn. Also, I called up the Day's Inn for fun, and they said that rooms for Otakon were booked. Otakon dates hvae been up for a day and hotels are already filling up.. dang.

  2. Da fuck? the 19th-21st?

    fuck.

Stayed at the Tremont in 2003, horrible walk.

2004, stayed in a hotel that was a lot closer, Wyndmoor, I think it was.

This year, I'd like to stay at that hotel thats right next to the BCC.

Yeah, but not 360 dollars a night great.

  5. We stayed there 2 years, it IS $360 great.

You kids and your drug money.

  7. We split it like 5 ways.

  8. more like 6

and the price was more around 260... because they(for some reason) have Otakon rates. Well, thats what I found out when I got the room last year. Of course, Otakon is says that they have no rates for the Hyatt. Dunno if they're doing Otakon rates again this year, but, it doesn't hurt to ask.

  9. We usually like to split 4 ways, so everyone can have a bed. There are some nightmare stories to be told about previous years where we thought it was a good diea to put like 6-7 people in one room.

I'm cool with the Holiday, I'm not gonna use it for much more than sleeping anyway.

  10. Yeah, stuffing too many can be a pain. Luckily the Hyatt had decent space. But, I too will stick with the Holiday Inn. As much as I love staying in the Hyatt, it does cost alot. Also, trying to get an extra 2-3 people to cheapen costs can be a pain.

I'm aiming for the cheapness this year. Go Holiday Inn!
