Agree. Being anti-liberal doesn't make anyone a racist. That word is thrown around way too loosely and way too often and he was clearly being humorous.

And as someone that spent a considerable amount of time with him (he lived with me for a time), ECM wasn't remotely a "sexist" or "racist". Anything but.

I dont know. It's kind of hard to be an adult that is aware of other people and their lives, be against most liberal policies and not be a racist. The alternative to many of their suggestions end in systemic oppression.

You can either be aware of this and want it because you hate minorities or be a child or as ignorant as one and want them as part of an idealistic worldview.

I'm not going to pollute this thread with political crap. You can be a liberal and be racist. You can be a conservative and be racist. You can be libertarian and be racist. The idealogies of liberalism and conservatism aren't racist. People are.
