Thread: OXM Says: Halo 2.5 Coming to Xbox 2

Actually, I was pulling that from what the insider said in the story in my first post. I'm inclined to take what they said at face value, since Bungie was able to produce in-game screen shots at resolutions of up to 1600x1200 resolution. I'll amend what I said though: IN THEORY, Halo 2 was designed the same way.

And then I said generally if games continue the story they are called sequels and given new titles.

(edit: if if if if if if if if if if if. As I said before, this probably isn't even true and there are so many ifs so I really don't know how to debate this.)

So are you using this to say that this wont continue the story? Seems pretty tenuous to me. And if you are not, then youre just arguing over semantics.

They should do Halo 2x (a la Tony Hawk 2x), 1 + 2 in the same package with beefed-up graphics and elements from 2 integrated into 1, plus some new bonuses (online co-op, new multiplayer maps). Nobody'd have too hard a time justifying that purchase.

Now this is a fine suggestion. Actually a very very very fine suggestion.

    Remake of last-gen's best game?

Yet another reason to doubt XB2 will succeed.

Yeah, you guys are dumb sometimes.
They're both FPS' and by this common ground are comparable. Also, I didn't disagree in my statement at the time, I just said go for it, because nobody would care.

I know. Sometimes it feels like people aren't allowed to like two games at once, though.
Well that's like, your opinion, man.
