i never cared for GT1 and GT2 when they came out, but once GT3 came out, it hit me hard! the series requires more patience, progress may seem slow, but it's very rewarding. it also has incredible amout of depth that other racers lack(the ones that try to be sim like). Anyways, im just saying give the game more time and patience and im sure you'll grow to love it everyday.

at the moment, im seriously considering buying the GT Force steering wheel(or whatever it's called), but the porblem is i usually sit on a bean bag when playing games, and im not sure how a steering wheel would fit in there. I would need chair+table to make the experience more enjoyable.

  2. GTA needs a steering wheel to get the full experience. I have the driving force wheel, and it rocks. I don't know what the name of the new logitech wheel is, the one with 900 degrrees of rotation, but that shit is gonna be hot! I played the GT4 demo for five minutes before Josh's modded PS2 took a shit, and it looked really good. Of course, you can't get even close to really experiencing the game until you have logged several hours and gotten good cars with all the mods. Can't fucking wait!

Well...my GT4 import was held up by customs so I wont get it till monday. but hearing about 1080i/480i does make me feel a little better

  6. Do the older PS2's support Progressive scan? I have the Gran Tourismo 3 packaged PS2 and the manual says nothing about it.

yes they do, i bought my PS2 4 months after it was released in the U.S and mine supports progressive scan no problem, provided you have a component cable that is.

Sure do! I connect both my Xbox and PS2 to my Wega's with it. At least with the Xbox, you can go into the menu and set it to progressive or 1080i.

if the demo you played was the prologue, the game has only gotten better looking since then. those actually werent final graphics. and yes, the new logitec wheel is great. picked one up when i got the prologue.

Why would it be a legal bitch? Tons of games have included Times Square.

Anyway, I got one question about GT4: did they make changes to the structure of the game? Ive always had fun with the driving engine of GT, I played GT2 like a dirty whore, but it really wasnt much fun to progress in the game. Because its hella easy to exploit the system and make a shitload of money, theres always money cars that rape everything, etc. The game really has always been Pokemon for car nuts, the experience is secondary to collecting.

Has this changed? Or have they just taken GT3 and added a shitload of cars and some new tracks? Because thats all they did with GT2 and it bummed me out a bit.

Oh, and another question: does the game include the 2003 Mustang? Because Ive always wanted to play my car in the game, but all my other cars have been unworthy (1989 Ford Tempo, 1991 Mazda Protege holla).
