How about the fact that the AI does not follow the same rules and physics you do?

Or the fact that the AI does not give a single care about your presence in the game (or any other AI cars, for that matter)?

Perhaps the fact that they offered zero challenge whatsoever is a problem?

I do not know about you, but I have plenty to bitch about with GT's AI.

They ride on rails and dont react to your, or anybody else's, driving. And by not suffering the penalties you have to deal with, it is cheating like a motherfucker. The AI is basically 1993-level Super Mario Kart type shit. For a game that touts itself to be the ultimate simulator and the highest standard in racing games, this is inexcusable.

People have been complaining about it since the original Gran Turismo. Polyphony also promised to have a brand new AI system in Gran Turismo 2, which they didnt. Its unacceptable that they still havent.
