  1. One of my favorite Ghibli Studio movies is My Neighbor Totoro.

  2. Actually... I just checked. You're kind of out of luck on some of the stuff that hasn't been released here as far as individual dvd's go.

Is this the set you saw?

If you get the set you get Ocean Waves/I Can Hear The Sea, Only Yesterday, On Your Mark, and Ghiblies 2. On Your Mark and Ghiblies 2 are shorts. The other two are movies.

Here's I Can Hear The Sea individual disc: http://www.hkdvdstore.net/ocean-wave...u-p-25521.html

Only Yesterday is really good, but it's a drama and really slow. Ocean Waves/I Can Hear The Sea is awesome though.

Ghiblies 2 is on The Cat Returns boot: http://www.hkdvdstore.net/cat-return...hi-p-1856.html

On Your Mark is a music video and not really worth trying to find on its own.

I'd get all the R1 releases minus The Cat Returns, and get the two boots above (one of which is The Cat Returns).

  3. Different packaging, but exactly the same contents.

  4. On a somewhat related note, you can watch all 26 episodes of Future Boy Conan here:

  5. Has anyone heard of any of these movies coming out in HD? That would be really nice.

  6. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

  7. I'll allow it.
    Boo, Hiss.

  8. OH SHIT LITTLE DOG

I hadn't seen anyting about the TV series. Fucking awesome.

  9. I'm not a devious man by nature... but when you're unarmed, your tactics might gonna be downright Archimedean.

  10. The first Studio Ghibli film I remember seeing was Princess Mononoke, which is a film I will never forget. The music and animation are fantastic, and I thought the voice acting was done fairly well.
