I read that the re-release was a bigger deal/marketing in Japan... but obviously this will be a new pressing that I think they put as "budget" so people wouldn't thinking it was a GOTY/UE/SE, etc that they could try to charge more for.

I think even among MG fans the number who played through 4 is fewer than you'd expect.

What's funny about this sudden announcement for achievements and a rumored full install is that John and I just marathoned this shit like last week. Fuckers.

I can talk about it now, if you want. Kojima's head was so far up his own ass when he made this game that it skims a very dangerous line between awesome and terrible.

IIRC A lot of people were interested in MGS4 but not a lot of TNL'ers bought a PS3 at launch, so we all played it at different times.
