Kouichi Sugiyama is easily one of my favorite composers in the game industry. Just in-game the music sounds great, and the stuff of his that has been re-recorded with a real orchestra sounds phenomenal. Now it looks like he's got even more in the pipes, and apparently he wants to do ALL of the games' soundtracks with orchestras (though haven't most of the bases been covered already?).
what does this mean, actually? are the soundtracks being released again with the new recordings or what? i thought they did that a few years ago. it was how i was able to finaly get my hands on the DQ6 arranged sound track.
the ending music from the end of DQ/W2 is my all time favorite.
