I don't like the way you develop your pictures. I really don't mean this as an insult, but it boarders on looking very amaturish.

I like your compositions, just something about the final product screams "high school photography class".

I'd like to see hi-res images to see if its just a byproduct of jpeg compression, or something.

P.S. The painting of the flower fucking owns. Very nice.

  3. Heres a higher res version of one of the photos. I'm not sure about the developing thing; mine is usual pretty minimal. The entire process is made of up just clicking auto levels and desaturate in photoshop for this one. Maybe I should fuck around with them some more.

  4. I really dig your black and white line art, Lobo. The Photography does look a little stale however.
    Barf! Barf! Barf!

The internet is like bizarro world. Around my town and at local shows, everyone loves the photographs and when they see the abstract stuff I usually get stuff like "It's just lines...?"

Dodging and burning should be your new best friend.

  7. This is fucking awesome:

Do you have a higher res version you can upload so I can make it my wallpaper?

  8. I'm going to be agreeing with Josh and Clash_Master. Your line art is very nice, but your photography, at least those pictures, is nothing really great. There is little to no contrast in them (something a college professor will press into you until like crazy) and they're not very interesting. Auto-focus/shutter speed/aperture is nice and all, but it doesn't always give you the best shot. I myself am a manual person, and I feel that doing it manually gives you more contrast, value, everything. Also, trying pushing your film, especially for graveyard shots.

Sure, what size do you need?

What is good wallpaper size? Somewhere around 1280x1024?

If you can't make it that big then 1024x768 or so should work fine.
