They're doing Venom exactly how I hoped they'd do him.

If this movie is the set up, and the next movie is entirely about Venom and Peter trying to live down his past mistakes (which I garner it is about) then this is exactly how I wanted things to, as you say, go down.

Damn, I didn't read them there spoilers. Still, I'm going to pretend I never read this post and everything will be back as it once was.

One of the things I wondered about from the original trailer was why the black outfit appeared to be a completely normal suit when Peter was tearing it off. In this trailer that was answered as the special effects have been added. I always like seeing that sort of thing in promotions, like how the original Matrix trailers had the elevator explosion before the building was added in.

Regardless, it looks fucking hot.

I really enjoy the special effects of the suit. It's tar-like, sticky. In the comics is always seemed like bubbling oil and slick or something and this is way, WAY better. It fits in well with the theme of him having to give it up and it being a struggle too.

It looked more like he was asking Mary Jane for help, not Harry. I'm not sure, however, they could have just cut to a random shot of MJ after Pete asked.

I rewatched my dvr's commercial. Its apparent after you play and pause ... When Peter asks for help. He''s wearing a greyish/black shirt. When you see MJ looking at Pete. Pete is wearing a red shirt(Check his sleeve). So no its not him asking for help. He might do it later; ask MJ, but at that scene in the trailer. He is definitely asking someone else.

Nope. Spidey was just in a random church bell tower when the bells started ringing. MJ wasn't there.

Venom's there at the end. Same bit from the Comic Con footage. The WIP CG and blue screen footage here are kinda interesting. I never knew they planned out trailers before they had the finished footage to work with.
