Alright, so Im finally getting around to paying this, and I'm loving it. Thing is, I have some questions that I can't find answers for. GameFAQs hasnt been much help.

1) Im in chapter 2 and cant seem to find a black smith for forging new weapons. I'd really like to get some decent one handed stuff since Ima rogue and wanna dual weild.

2) Does bashing treasure chests affect what items you can retrieve from it?

3) WTF are gems for? I have a bunch of em, but can't find a use.

Secondly, gems can be traded in for minimal value. Early on, they will provide you with some good coin .. later on they are a hassle, and not worth the effort.


The blacksmith is located in the first town. I believe you need to do a few things before he will agree to help you out. (My memory is fuzzy, but I think you either have to join his guild, or become a guild member somewhere else.)
