I've never gotten a parking ticket, and I drive like a crazy man. Either I'm very lucky or Florida doesn't care.

Florida doesn't care. I sped down the highway going out Tallahassee going around 90 mph, and I was barely keeping up with the traffic. It was even worse in Tampa. Orlando wasn't so bad, but it was too goddamn hot.

stormy, the Los Angeles Parking Enforcement people are VERY BAD. Everyone with a car in LA learns this sooner or later.

I started making full stops at EVERY stop sign a few years ago, becuase I have gotten a couple bullshit tickets for that too. Both times were very slight "california rolls" through the stopsign, and the extra 1.3 seconds I thought I was shaving off my time home from work just ended up in 15 minute traffic stops, making me later, and 50 bucks a pop.

Uh, you ran a stop sign. That's against the law. You should've been fully prepared to get pulled over the moment you did it, doesn't matter where you are.

I don't drive too fast, but around here (depending on the time of day) the speed limit on I-95 can be anywhere from 40MPH to 95MPH and I usually do my part in keeping up with traffic. I've been lucky once or twice but I try to be safe and legal when I drive.

I know about I 95 well, which around DC turns into the 495 beltway. You would never get a ticket on 495, cause everyone is driving 20-40 miles over the speed limit.

Stay away from NJ- they send you parking tickets from towns you've never been to. Every other year, I get my lisence suspended because I got parking tickets in towns I've never heard of in cars I don't own. After successfully contesting three such tickets in the last 5 years, you'd think they would learn.
