Give that man a free membership! That was exactly my intent. Some threads seem appropriate for a members-only board, but the majority of threads in the Vet's Board belong somewhere else. It should be cleaned up, but you know how that goes.

Why not join FC and VB, call it FC, and keep skull and bones as a sub forum in it?

There are some legitimate Vet's Board threads. Sometimes you just want to address that subset of users or you want to post a topic that's inappropriate for Sound Off but not FC or S&B material. It's been way overused, though.

Making threads in FC just seems pointless when VB is right there and and closer to the community to boot. It's like putting a giant ad in front of a building or behind it. One is better than the other.
