When you're on the road as much as these guys were, it's not too surprising to see them get caught in a road accident, though it's certainly a shock to see the accident turn fatal.
At least they managed to give us one good album ("Winds of Creation") before their descent into irrelevance.
I finally got my work shift cleared by my supervisor, so the Suffocation/Immolation show is officially a go for Tuesday night.
Fucking Ticketmaster and their bullshit charges. The tickets themselves are $16.50, and I get charged an additional $6.30 just so they can grease their wallets with an additional 38% of the actual costs. If there wasn't the potential of a sell-out, I'd just buy my ticket at the venue on the day of the show.
Anyway, it should be a sweet show, though I hear that Immolation is playing a set almost exclusively filled from the last two albums. Suffocation, on the other hand, is bringing back a bunch of stuff they haven't played since like 1995-1996.
