Konami WaiWai World 3

- RUMOR: Japanese retailers reported that Konami is working on a new action adventure game called Konami Wai Wai World 3, which is the sequel to Konami Wai Wai world 2 from 1988 for Famicom. Konami Wai Wai World 3 will be in full 3D, feature action and stealth elements, plus a collection of mini games. The game will include familiar Konami characters from Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania, Gradius, Tokimeki Memorial, Suikoden, Powerful Pro Baseball, Pop n' Music and so on.

I'm really hoping this comes out. I loved the first two games.

For the uninformed ( I think there was a thread a while back, but, eh ), Konami WaiWai world combined characters from all sorts of franchises, like Castlevania, Goemon, Contra, Gradius, etc. Two platformers were released on the Famicom in the 80s, and Konami Wai Wai Racing (Konami Krazy Racing in the US) was released on the GBA.

I always had a strange soft spot for the two Famicom Wai Wai games.

Keep in mind, that was a combination Konami/Hudson/Takara thing. This is just Konami.
